Heather Shields
Heather Shields is a lifelong Mainer and top-producing real estate advisor with more than twenty years of experience serving coastal communities. Raised on North Haven and now based in southern Maine, she specializes in primary homes, vacation properties, and waterfront and island real estate. Known for her deep market knowledge and innovative marketing, Heather helps clients navigate buying and selling with strategy, trust, and care.
Beyond her work, Heather is committed to strengthening her community. She serves on Maine-based boards, is active in Women Empowered at Sotheby’s International Realty, and is the founder of the Maine Women’s Project, celebrating and connecting women across the state.

Eliza Rauscher is a Maine real estate agent and key member of the Heather Shields Maine team, known for thoughtful guidance and client-first service. With a deep appreciation for Maine’s communities and lifestyle, she works with buyers and sellers across Greater Portland, the Midcoast, and coastal markets, helping clients navigate each decision with clarity and care.
Eliza brings a background in advertising and television production to her work, pairing strong negotiation and project management skills with a talent for marketing and storytelling. She lives in Cape Elizabeth with her husband and three children and is actively involved in her local community and the Maine Women’s Project.

Kari Herer
After earning her BFA from the University of Idaho, Kari built an international photography career working with major brands including Anthropologie, IKEA, Restoration Hardware, and William Arthur. Known for her vivid botanical imagery, her work has appeared in global campaigns, on iPhone billboards worldwide, and at conferences and workshops where she’s been a featured speaker.
Now based in Yarmouth, Maine, Kari focuses her work closer to home, photographing for MaineHealth, The Dempsey Center, The Harold Alfond Foundation, and celebrated local businesses. She is also co-creator of Take Two: A Journal for New Beginnings, published by Chronicle Books in 2021.

Harry & Lyss are a husband-and-wife filmmaking team and the creative videographers behind the Maine Women’s Project, capturing the stories, energy, and voices of women across the state. Their cinematic style blends authenticity with artistry, creating films that celebrate community, connection, and the power of shared experience.
For the past seven years, they have traveled internationally, producing premium content for luxury hotels, small businesses, and weddings. Harry specializes in first-person-view drone flythroughs for real estate, delivering immersive visuals that set listings apart. Some of their client portfolio includes national brands such as Cheez-It and CITGO, along with leading Maine companies, including Sugarloaf Mountain, Atlantic Hospitality, Hancock Lumber, Belgrade Lakes Golf Club, and many others.

Leah Atwood
Leah Atwood is a Maine native with a passion for the arts. Raised in East Millinocket, she pursued a Business Degree with a Communications focus at the New England School of Communications at Husson College in Bangor. After nearly a decade in property management in Washington D.C., Leah returned to Maine and continued her career in property management which eventually transitioned into real estate.
Currently, as the Administrator at Legacy Properties Sotheby's International Realty in Portland, and a licensed Real Estate Agent, Leah combines her extensive industry knowledge with her love for Maine. Outside of real estate, she is an avid videographer and supporter of the local music and arts scene throughout New England.
Jenny Palmer
Jenny Palmer is the founder and leader of Four Leaf Advocacy, a boutique marketing and communications firm that works with high-performing real estate professionals and special interest organizations nationwide. Prior to launching Four Leaf, she worked in public policy and led communications for one of the largest trade associations in the state of Virginia. Jenny is deeply committed to furthering opportunity for women across every layer of private enterprise and public service. As a working mom, she’s particularly passionate about seeking authentic solutions to the imbalance between access to childcare and career advancement for women.
Jenny is a native and resident of Richmond, Virginia, with an ardent love of travel, true crime documentaries, and table manners. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) with a master’s degree in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University and an abiding belief that a full life is the best education.
